Bongani Khanyile, an esteemed individual, has made significant contributions to the field of standards, certifications and regulation in Africa.
Honored at NRCS:
- Mr. Bongani Khanyile was honored at the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) for his remarkable contributions during his nearly 20-year tenure.
- Tributes from colleagues highlighted his impact on the NRCS.
- Although he bid farewell to the NRCS, he expressed his future endeavor: to build Africa Standards & Certifications (ASC) in a similar manner to how he shaped the NRCS.

- Bongani Khanyile currently serves as the Managing Director of Africa Standards & Certifications (ASC).
- ASC is already accredited as a product certification body by SANAS and continuous to acquire other accreditation schemes including inspections, validation and verification
